
Industrial training institute, Khuribatpora was established in 2013 and started its first batch of trainees in July 2013.
The Institute under the guidance & support of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), DGET, Ministry of labor and Employment, GOI and State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Department of Technical Education, and Government of Jammu & Kashmir is rendering its services by imparting vocational training in job oriented courses including short term and part time courses.
The Institute is running various number of National (NCVT) /State level (SCVT) courses- Stenography unit1&2 (NCVT), Computer operator & Programming Assistant Unit1&2 (NCVT), Plumber unit1 (NCVT), unit2 (SCVT) & Dress making unit1 (NCVT) & newly introduced short term /long term courses like Office Assistant, Beekeeping, Gardener, Floriculturist, Nursery & Orchard Management.
The institution has total intake capacity of about 500 trainees. The institute would Introduce the new Trades in future be Draftsman Civil, Mason & building Construction, Health & sanitry Inspector & Data entry Operator.

- To try to network the institute with the industries and to provide the intermittent training facilities to the trainees in the industries.

- To enable students to get information about various job opportunities and to acquire the necessary skills of facing the interviews.
